I ended up going with a moss stitch border, which I think will be good for this boy baby blanket. I probably could have squeezed one more row out of my yarn before casting off, but I got paranoid and quit while I was ahead. I think that the two circs is a good idea though; I would've gone that way if it'd gotten much bigger around.

Thanks so much for the long comment on my last post -- I really appreciated all your thoughts and comparisons to the system over there. There is so much reform that I think we should undertake as a nation when it comes to elections! Especially in light of the most recent news about attempts to disenfranchise large groups of voters... I also find that a good garter stich border knitted on sideways, and you can use a tiny needle for that, will help the circular project lie flat. It is so easy to pick up the stitches this way as you just leave the pinwheel on the circulars and knit one stitch together with a border stitch every other row. Find or make up a 10 or 20row border pattern and it will fit. If you have Mary Thomas book of Knitting patterns then look at pages 232 to 234. or here http://www.yarnover.net/web/patterns/laces.html where this looks as if it would suit the yarn but it may be bigger than you want http://cache.lionbrand.com/cgi-bin/faq-search.cgi?store=/stores/eyarn&faqKey=289Judithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01284457201328888459noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8446078032788565854.post-89644442313598026242008-11-02T17:43:00.000+00:002008-11-02T17:43:00.000+00:00this flickr group too:http://flickr.com/groups/931...this flickr group too:
http://flickr.com/groups/93103067@N00/pool/Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8446078032788565854.post-79428566376146439042008-11-02T10:01:00.000+00:002008-11-02T10:01:00.000+00:00Two circs, same tip size but of any length?
