I'm intrigued by MUBI - must check that out and see if I can get it. Also have been wanting to try House of Cards. As for House of Cards, I found the beginning episodes the best. I adore Spacey's accent in this film. Are you inviting comment on the colour of false teeth gums? Really? Well, I can say that while shades probably vary, my grandmother's were nothing like your picture. They were quite lurid in fact. I've been swamped and traveling a bit for work. I am quite enjoying the new House of Cards, even though I was skeptical, as I loved the old one. My husband and I have gone back and watched the first season of the original as we are watching the new one. Different, both good. The biggest thing I noticed was the lack of technology in the original. Reporters being 'paged' in the restaurant, etc. So fun to see again, though. Must check out Habemus Papem. Wonder if there is a MUBI equivalent in the US?Mary Louhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05588244535423212079noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8446078032788565854.post-55329321799825886282013-02-27T03:39:06.180+00:002013-02-27T03:39:06.180+00:00I have watched all 13 episodes of House of Cards, ...I have watched all 13 episodes of House of Cards, even though politics is not my subject matter of interest. I did get hooked on the series, though, and was sad when the last episode ended. I loved all of Kevin Spacey's very assured "asides" to the camera. Surely there will be more episodes in the future?

I shall have to check out We Have A Pope. I am never disappointed in any films that you suggest.

Mary G. in Texas Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
